What is Fly4You?

Fly4You is a SAFe® business simulation that takes place in four rounds. A team of eight people work in different roles at Fly4You, a fictitious airline.

<pThe participants have to translate business goals into functioning products, encountering realistic challenges such as competing business demands and resource constraints.

This simulation is designed for managers, team leaders and employees who want to learn how to apply SAFe® principles in practice.

Learning outcomes and application

Fly4You offers comprehensive learning opportunities. General learning outcomes include understanding how to organize digital transformation programs and the key elements of the SAFe® approach.

More specific topics include defining a Strategic Theme, prioritizing features and enablers on a Program Backlog, and preparing for successful PI planning.

This supports an effective transfer of the learned knowledge to daily work.

Games as a learning method

The use of games and simulations in a business context is a powerful way to make complex concepts tangible. Through simulation, participants can apply theories in a realistic but risk-free environment.

This promotes deeper understanding and better recall compared to traditional learning methods. It allows participants to experience the challenges and opportunities of agile practices in an interactive and engaging environment.

The simulation lasts a full day and can be conducted online or in the classroom. It is designed for groups of 9-10 participants and requires no specific prior knowledge.

Fly4You mirrors a real-life situation in which a young aviation company, faced with challenges in introducing new technologies, is undergoing an agile transformation.
