Cloud Computing has initiated the fourth industrial revolution. This flexible and demand-based provision and usage-based payment of IT resources, applications and entire data centers via the Internet opens up enormous possibilities and opportunities in the market for companies of all sizes. On the other hand, there are great uncertainties as to what exactly happens to the data and information, where it is stored, who has access to it from where, and whether the company is able to exercise its responsible control over the data at all times.
This is why we have created the “Glenfis Cloud Talk”. With it we want to create a platform for exchanging information about the challenges of Cloud Service Management in a relaxed atmosphere. At a business breakfast event in the “CLOUDS”, the bar in Zurich’s airy Prime Tower, twice a year we want to create an atmosphere of trust through knowledge and exchange about this technology for representatives of Cloud Service Customers, Cloud Service Providers and with contributions from experts.

How to solve business continuity with the Cloud?
Companies are increasingly gaining confidence in Cloud Solutions and are increasingly building their infrastructures and digital solution concepts on the basis of local and international Cloud Service Providers. Availability does not seem to be a real problem, as a cloud provider usually has redundant solutions. So are all questions already answered? Is there no need for an in-depth risk assessment or does the entire Cloud Delivery Model still have unresolved weaknesses from a business resilience perspective? Do I have to think about the planning of Cloud Solutions and deliberately place service components with different providers? Which scenarios are added to the traditional business continuity view when dynamic cloud solutions support business processes?
