ITIL® 4 Overview [P-I4O1]
This overview gives an insight into ITIL® 4 and the new way to look at IT Service Management using a Service Value System (SVS). In one day we will explain the main changes to ITIL® V3/2011.
Main Topics
What is the difference between ITIL® V3/2011 and ITIL® 4? In short, ITIL® V3 describes Service Management through the 26 processes and functions that are part of a continuous process of the 5 life cycle phases: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement. All this knowledge is still valuable and relevant!
ITIL® 4 brings you a more advanced view of the Service Value System (SVS). It provides a holistic end-to-end picture of what it really means to contribute to the value of the business. It includes concepts from other models such as Lean IT, Agile and DevOps.
