ITIL® 4 Overview [P-I4O1]
This overview gives an insight into ITIL 4 and the new way to look at IT Service Management using a Service Value System (SVS). In one day we will explain the main changes to ITIL V3/2011.
What is the difference between ITIL V3/2011 and ITIL 4? In short, ITIL V3 describes Service Management through the 26 processes and functions that are part of a continuous process of the 5 life cycle phases: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement. All this knowledge is still valuable and relevant!
ITIL 4 brings you a more advanced view of the Service Value System (SVS). It provides a holistic end-to-end picture of what it really means to contribute to the value of the business. It includes concepts from other models such as Lean IT, Agile and DevOps.
We grant you an overview of the following contents:
- Key concepts of Service Management
- The four dimensions of service management
- ITIL Guiding Principles
- The ITIL Service Value System (SVS)
- ITIL Practices
No formal requirements.
