Every company is subject to data protection regulations. The new basic data protection regulation GDPR (General Data Privacy Regulation) applies to all EU countries and all countries that do business with the EU (including Switzerland). Organisations must be more careful in enforcing compliance with personal information (PII). The requirements and penalties for violations have increased.
This course provides an overview of the rights and obligations of companies in connection with the processing of personal data. The course provides appropriate decisions on how to handle PII and other data.
