The COBIT® 5 Foundation course is accredited by APMG and teaches the benefits of a sound governance framework as well as demonstrates how effective IT governance can be achieved through the application of COBIT®.

The optimal implementation of theoretical specifications and parameters in the deployment of IT governance requires a proper framework that guarantees proper control from the very outset.

In this course, experienced COBIT® practitioners who want to implement governance and management in line with COBIT® will learn the seven phases of the COBIT® implementation lifecycle and the three inter-linked components:

  1. Life-cycle for ongoing improvement
  2. Enabling changes – addressing behavioural- and cultural aspects
  3. Management of the program

Against a backdrop of new ­­­trends in technology, increased mobility and the continuous expansion of data networking and -systems, cybersecurity is today an issue of the highest urgency. It is an issue that this spans out from the highest management agendas to all other hierarchical levels. And while cybersecurity can be considered a sub-area of general information security, it also comprises highly specific aspects that require the input of trained professionals.
